The City of Georgetown Fire Department is providing qualified candidates with the option to participate in one (1) of two (2) written exam test date options for an upcoming Firefighter/Paramedic Entry Exam. Interested candidates may only participate in one (1) of the available written exams. The written examinations will take place: Saturday, August 16, 2025 & Saturday, August 23, 2025 Public Safety Operations Training Center 3500 DB Wood Rd Georgetown, TX 78626 Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. No one will be admitted into the testing facility after 9:00 a.m. All that is required is an EMT license and we will put you through our fire academy and through paramedic school. If you already have your paramedic license and fire certification, you’ll hit the floor even faster. If you already have your paramedic license, you’ll go through the fire academy and then hit the floor.
